KBW names Pathward Financial to 2024 Bank Honor Roll

Pathward Financial, Inc. is one of only 18 high-performing banks to make the list.  

Specialists in Financial Services, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. (also known as “KBW”), announced its 2024 Bank Honor Roll Award winners in a news release published April 30. Pathward Financial, Inc. (“Pathward Financial” or the “company”) (Nasdaq: CASH) is one of only 18 U.S. banking institutions, just five percent of all eligible banks, named on KBW’s list of “high-performing banks recognized for consistent excellence.”  

According to the news release, banks must have more than $500 million in total assets to be eligible for the award. KBW based its list on two criteria:  

1. Consistent earnings growth over the past 10 years; and/or  
2. Top 5% earnings per share compound annual growth rate over the past 10 years 

Pathward Financial is one of only two banks on the list to satisfy both the “consistent” and “top 5%” criteria.

The news of the KBW award came on the heels of Pathward Financial’s Fiscal Year 2024 Second Quarter earnings announcement, where the company reported total revenue for the second quarter was $247.2 million, an increase of $18.8 million, or 8%, compared to the same quarter in fiscal 2023, driven by an increase in both net interest income and noninterest income.
